a) EOD 10 suit and helmet
The Next Generation Bomb Suit
The introduction of the EOD® 10 sets a new gold standard for blast protection, ergonomic design and technical capabilities. This Med-Eng multi-year development program focused on a user-centric design to provide the best possible overall experience and the results are outstanding.
It is significantly lighter, more comfortable and gives users much greater mobility. The jacket and trousers have been completely redesigned to reduce weight and fatigue. Its new and enhanced ambient air ventilation systems keep users feeling refreshed and focused. The improved fit and new materials enable bomb disposal technicians and military EOD operators to operate more freely in difficult locations for longer periods of time.
The EOD helmet has been completely redesigned to improve situational awareness, protection and fit. The EOD 10 helmet integrates a Voice Command system and new light discipline options, and provides enhanced warning and confirmation systems to support users in a variety of operational environments.
The EOD 10 bomb suit and helmet ensemble gives EOD operators superior balanced protection against the four main blast threats: overpressure, fragmentation, impact and heat. It should also be noted that Med-Eng evaluated and carefully applied the latest lightweight protective materials to increase overall protection while significantly reducing weight. This is a remarkable achievement.

b) TAC 6 SUIT
The TAC 6 is a highly versatile and lightweight suit for Military EOD Operators and Bomb Technicians supporting SWAT teams/bomb squads.
It protects against blast and fragmentation in ‘non-permissive’ environments where it is not possible or practical to wear a full scale, heavy bomb suit.
The Med-Eng TAC 6 is based on a set of modular components that can be added or removed to meet specific operational and protective requirements. Components cover the Chest, Shoulders, Upper and Lower Arms, Groin, Upper and Lower Legs. It integrates with Tactical and Combat helmets and the Med-Eng TAC Visor System.
c) Digital Vanguard Robot
A smaller, lighter but very rugged robot capable of performing a range of Counter-IED missions.
The Digital Vanguard is a multipurpose robot for responding to EOD & IEDD and CBRN threats, surveillance and tactical missions. Its low profile, mobility and dexterity enable this EOD robot to access confined spaces such as under vehicles, as well as the aisles and storage compartments of airplanes, buses and trains.
The Digital Vanguard—also called the DV—bomb disposal robot has an auxiliary port and telescopic arm to deploy an array of bomb disposal equipment including disruptors, cameras, electronic countermeasures, X-ray equipment and CBRNe sensors.
The x500 Integrated Command Portal is the most recent upgrade to the Digital Vanguard. The x500 controls all robot functions, arm and claw positioning, and cameras. It records two way audio, full HD video and captures still images, as well as displaying all data received from the optional ROVISS Integrated Sensor Suite, e.g. CBRNe sensors. Its Graphic User Interface (GUI) can be set to most languages, including the ability to have the operator manuals display in native languages.
The x500 has easy to learn controls, which requires minimal follow-on training. Lightweight and a small footprint for easy portability, it offers a Sunlight Readable Quadra Clear® 39.6cm (15.6”) full HD 1080p (1920×1080) 800 NITs widescreen display. The x500 is rated at IP65 and meets MIL-STD 810G, MIL-STD-461F and ANSI/ISA 12.12.01 standards.
d) COMBAT HELMET
Fire Equipment Inc provides customers with fire alarm systems based on the latest technologies in fire alarm and life safety. We design, install, maintain and inspect systems specifically suited to your needs. We offer:
Our various models are designed to meet the latest performance and configuration requirements of the Army /Navy or airforce providing increased ballistic and impact protection with less weight than the regular ordinary helmet. Key Features:
Features a four point H-style retention system that provides added stability and reduces forward rotation compared to the PASGT’s two point retention system
Helmet suspension system is comprised of seven water resistant pads that provide blunt impact protection
A profile that enhances situational awareness and provides improved interface with weapon sights and other military accessories
The Helmet is designed according to the latest Military requirements, utilizing the most advanced ballistic protection against handgun ammunition. The shell is composed of multi-layered advanced composite; The harness assembly consists of the Comfipad suspension system and a four point harness with a leather lined chin strap. The reduced profile enables a wider peripheral and upward field of view, for better situational awareness and unrestricted movement, and also accommodates protective goggles, night vision goggles (NVG), and a communication system. Retention System The first stand-alone chinstrap to feature dial-adjustable fit. The Boa® Closure System provides the ultimate in stability, adjustment and fit while remaining lightweight and durable. Taking it one step further, the retention system is compatible with a wide variety of helmet liner systems as well as most common ballistic shell styles. The Boa® system’s unrivaled technology ensures the most secure fit in a matter of seconds. The addition of cam-lock sliders furthers the ease of one-handed adjustment – set them in place once and let the Boa® system do the rest. The design of the cam-lock adjustment system results in no loose ends or hanging straps, and no elastic loops that tear off and disappear.
